How to use your vanilla Bean ?
New to using whole vanilla beans? Don't worry, it's easier than you think! Follow these simple steps to unlock the full potential of your vanilla pod:
- Split: Use a knife to split the pod in half lengthwise.
- Scrape: Use the back of the knife to scrape out the precious seeds.
- Infuse: Add the pod and seeds to your milk, cream, or batter.
Anti-Waste Tip: Don't throw away the pod after scraping out the seeds! Dip it in your sugar jar to create homemade vanilla sugar, or in a bottle of rum for a homemade extract.
